About Me

Hello! My name is Emily and I am a teenager from the UK. My Diaversary is on the 7th August 2015.

The name theworkshypancreas came from my cousin (who also happens to be one of my closest friends.) We spent a long time brainstorming names and came up with some very amusing ideas, however, we eventually settled on theworkshypancreas. It seemed to fit seeing as mine is rubbish at it’s job. I also really like the name as it put focus on the cause of T1D and showed how it is not my lifestyle but my body refusing to do a job.

My favourite colours are purple, pink and blue and I have a purple laptop – it was the most important thing when I went shopping for one! I love going to the beach and spending time with my family. My favourite subjects in school are English and Geography. I intensely dislike PE – its just such a hassle, get changed and then stand in a line and wait to hit a ball. Ugh…

I would love a dog but at the moment I have two lovely (and very chatty) guinea pigs called Pickle and Caramel. I also enjoy music and play two instruments. I am also an amateur photographer being taught all of the tricks of the trade by my Grandpa.

I am an avid fan of Holby City and when watching I have to hear every word much to my brother’s annoyance as he can’t stand it.

I also really enjoy writing and instagramming, hence my Blog and ig profile! Please follow!!! @theworkshypancreas.

I hope you enjoy what I write and will come back in a couple of days of each post to read the next instalment of my life. 🙂

I wish you all wonderful BG readings!
